"SOU SIK" is the Cantonese pronunciation of Su Shi, a legendary figure in history revered for his artistic genius. Legend tells of a time when Su Shi saved a struggling fan maker by painting poetry onto his plain white fans, instantly transforming simple tools into sought-after masterpieces. This ancient synergy between the visionary artist and the skilled craftsman is the heartbeat of our brand. We channel this spirit to create Hardcore Coffee Toys, merging industrial precision with aesthetic soul to ensure your gear is not just useful, but truly inspiring.
It's pronounced Sow-Sick, and yes, we think our P-1 grinder is pretty sick, too.
A Rebellion Against the Ordinary.
We were tired of the sea of "Minimalist" and "Bauhaus" clones that all looked the same. We wanted gear with a pulse. Enter the P-1 Manual Grinder—a statement piece carved from CNC-machined metal, embodying a Retro-Futuristic aesthetic that honors the golden age of mechanics. But looks aren't everything. In early 2025, we handed prototypes to over 300 coffee fanatics for ruthless testing. We listened, we learned, and we iterated. Today’s P-1 has seen 95% of its components re-engineered—from structure to materials—based on that real-world feedback.
