SOU SIK P-1 Solo Hand Coffee Grinder - Petal Pink Aluminum

Smaller in Size. Fully P-1 Inside.
By micro-machining three core components, the main outer body, the lower catch-cup, and the central drive shaft, the P-1 Solo achieves a dramatically reduced height while maintaining complete cross-platform component compatibility with the P-1. Every internal gear and burr set remains 100% interchangeable. It is the exact same high-efficiency planetary reduction system, strategically condensed for maximum EDC portability.

Folds in Seconds.
Engineered with a precision screw-lock collar, the crank unlocks with a quick twist to fold flat against the body, drastically saving space when stowed. Twist to loosen, fold, and pack, a tactile mechanical ritual designed for seamless personal carry.

Tailored for the Solo Dose.
Downsizing the chamber from 30g to a focused 20g isn’t just about saving space, it’s engineered for the optimal single-serve dose. By tailoring the volume to the golden ratio for solo brewing, it eliminates bean waste and delivers a lighter, better-balanced grip in hand.

8% Lighter. A Lighter Grip for Solo Brews.
Weighing just 980g in its aluminum edition compared to the 1065g P-1, the Solo dips under the 1kg mark, delivering a noticeably lighter grip while retaining full structural durability.

Say goodbye to the "stuck-and-crank" struggle. Thanks to our integrated planetary gear reduction system, the P-1 turns the heavy lifting of grinding into a silky, continuous motion. The P-1 is equipped with a 1:3.1 planetary gear system that triples your torque, allowing you to grind with just 1/3 of the usual force. It works like a bicycle in low gear climbing a steep hill—smooth, steady, and impossible to stall. Concerned that lower resistance means more cranking? We solved that, too. By pairing the gearbox with a massive burr set (36mm inner / 53mm outer), we increased the surface area to maintain high grinding speed. The result is a workflow so effortless, you can power through the hardest beans with just a two-finger pinch.
The End of Fixed Burrs.
Most hand grinders lock you into a single flavor profile by permanently press-fitting the outer ring into the body. Upgrading only the inner cone is a half-measure that disrupts the intended grinding geometry. The P-1 shatters this limitation. We designed a proprietary exposed mounting system that allows you to unbolt and swap the entire burr set, both inner and outer, in seconds. This means you aren't just adjusting a grinder; you are transforming its engine to perfectly match your bean choice. It’s a modular ecosystem built for those who demand the complete picture, not just half of it.

15 big teeth, 52 small teeth. Smaller gap for uniform, concentrated particles.
8-star, 48-tooth design. Enlarged powder discharge port increases fine powders.

Two Souls, One Grinder.
Designed for modern extraction standards, the Burrs 02 architecture delivers a narrow, highly uniform particle distribution with a controlled presence of fines. This precision results in a brew that is exceptionally balanced, offering a syrupy, smooth mouthfeel with maximized sweetness. By taming sharp acidity while boosting body, perfect for unlocking the complex potential of Light Roast Specialty Beans.
Engineered for high-definition flavor, the Burrs 01 architecture produces a wide particle distribution with absolute minimal fines. This specific geometry reduces muddy flavors, delivering a cup characterized by intense clarity, bright acidity, and a crisp finish. It effectively cuts through the heaviness of oils, making it the definitive choice for brewing Medium to Dark Roasts where a clean mouthfeel is paramount.
The coffee powder samples submitted for testing were ground from small-batch product samples, analyzed using the German Microtrac MRB CAMSIZER X2 model, which employs dynamic image analysis for particle size and shape distribution.

Accurate and Practical Grinding Adjustment.
With its 2 rotations and 120 steps, the external grind size adjustment ring offers accurate control over the grind size. Durability is guaranteed by the entire stainless steel construction, and play and drift are prevented by the precise and clear click adjustments. Every single time, you'll obtain the ideal grind for your brew.

Built to Roam
We condensed its massive performance into a compact form factor that slides effortlessly into your backpack, carry-on, or weekend bag.

Static Elimination for a Cleaner Grind
In order to dissipate any static produced during grinding, the outer burr is made to come into contact with your hand. This guarantees a cleaner grinding experience by reducing the amount of leftover coffee grinds at the base. Your coffee stays unadulterated and pure, while your desk stays neat.
